Who doesn’t want to earn a profit? Of course, I guess everybody wants to earn, especially nowadays. In pjstar.com, an article, which is written by Norm Meyn, this issue has been discussed. Is it really profitable to have vegetable garden at home than to buy them at store? A research by Gail Langellotto, who is an Oregon State Master Gardener Coordinator, proves that vegetable gardening is profitable. The vegetables which gain more profit are the salad greens, tomatoes, beets, broccoli, potatoes and strawberries. She makes vegetable gardening at home because of this. But what strikes me most is when she only plants vegetables which her family, especially her kids want to eat.

Aside from the saving she enjoys each year, she also thinks that those fruits and vegetables which are planted at home taste delicious compared to those which are sold in the market. Perhaps, this is because of the chemicals they pour on the organic products just for them to grow. For those of you who haven’t tried gardening in your yard, this is an encouragement for you. Try to maximize the space in your yard rather than leaving it empty.
