Have you been to Mark Twain National Park or do you want to go there? If yes, then, this year maybe is the perfect time. According to waynecojournalbanner.com, Mark Twain National forest have joined together with the other federal agencies so that they can be able to provide fee-free camping days on public lands. This would start in Jan 21, 2013.

The 2013 recreation fee-free days for sites Mark Twain national Forest operates include:

June 8 – National Get Outdoors Day – Free camping at non-reserved campsites on June 7 and 8, free day use on June 8 and 9.  This coincides with Missouri Department of Conservation’s Free Fishing days June 8 and 9.

Sept. 28 – National Public Lands Day – Free camping at non-reserved campsites on September 27 and 28, free day use on September 28 and 29.

Nov. 9-11 – Veterans Day Weekend – Free camping at non-reserved campsites November 9 and 10, free day use November 9, 10 and 11.
